Mike is a business leader, serial entrepreneur, and champion for the construction trades. A strategist, forming highly effective teams, creating new processes, and building winning relationships with employees, colleagues, customers, and partners. A visionary that looks to the future, embracing technology and pushing to invent and adopt new thinking in an industry that allows our modern world to live the way we do.
He has assembled a leadership team that operates his businesses in a highly professional manner. Mike’s philosophy is to “…get out of the way…” and empower his leaders to create the outcomes they are all aligned around. Together they have built the largest plumbing company in Arizona, having not only survived the Great Recession but actually growing through the downturn.
Focusing on the culture of the business is critical, and one of the founding principles – “…do what you say you’re going to do…” is essential to being a part of his team.
One of Mike’s ambitions is to give back, and he makes himself available to those serious about their futures. He is a 10+ year member of the Entrepreneurs Organization of Arizona (EOAZ) and part of several forums, bringing something different to each group, getting something different from each in return.
He is a husband and proud father of six adult children, four of whom are employed in his businesses. They all have earned their positions and understand; business is about producing value, not an entitlement to be expected.
