Douglass Delano is the Managing Partner at Level Green Landscape, a DC based Commercial Landscape Management Company. Doug graduated from college with a degree in Philosophy and taught High School Math and coached football for several years prior to becoming a landscaper. He has been involved in the landscape industry for 37 years, starting as a crewman doing installation and working his way up the ladder to run a Branch for Ruppert Landscape and then TruGreen when Ruppert sold. He left TruGreen and started Level Green Landscape in 2003. He is a MNLA Certified Professional Horticulturalist and a NALP Certified Manager and Technician.
Bill Hardy is a Partner at Level Green Landscaping, A DC based Commercial Landscape Management Company. He started his Landscaping career in 1983 with Ruppert landscape after attending University of MD majoring in Engineering. Bill quickly moved up the ranks from crewman to area manager in his first year with Ruppert. He continued his advancement to Branch manager with Ruppert then another 5 years with TruGreen when Ruppert sold in 1998
In 2003 he partnered with Doug Delano and together they grew the company to its present size in the greater Maryland /Virginia/Dc area. He is a NALP Certified Manager
Doug Delano and Bill Hardy opened Level Green Landscaping LLC in 2002 to offer Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia reliable commercial landscape maintenance services. The industry veterans both got their starts at a large, regional landscape company and have more than 60 years of combined experience. Their commercial landscaping company has production offices in Prince Georges County and Montgomery County, MD — with direct report sites in Washington, DC and St. Mary's County, MD. Level Green services commercial properties like office buildings, condominiums, homeowner associations (HOAs), mixed-use, retail, institutions, government entities and more.
