Andrew Key, CPA-President of Emerald Isle

Bachelors degree from UCSB, emphasis in Business Economics, CPA since 1993. 7 years of Public Accounting for various types of clients, primarily in tax practice, setting up computerized accounting systems, and applications programming. 25 years of experience in commercial construction mainly with specialty subcontractors, including 17 years of experience in the landscape industry. Facilitated dissolution and recapitalization of a partnership, and ownership transition in two businesses before coming to Emerald Isle.

Andrew is the former President of Heads Up Landscaping, Inc. in Albuquerque, NM. Along with former owner, Gary Mallory, Andrew helped build the company to over $30 Million in revenue. The company was sold in 2017. Andrew and his family moved to Denver in 2018 where he took over leadership of Emerald Isle. Andrew has a close relationship with Emerald Isle owners, the Lamberton family. The relationship was developed through previous peer group membership.
