Since joining Weathermatic in 1995, Brodie has passionately promoted landscape water conservation worldwide through Weathermatic product innovations, training, and management programs, resulting in billions of gallons of water savings. To share the savings, Brodie co-founded the Weathermatic “Save Water | Give Life” social cause to fund water wells and teach hygiene skills in 3rd World countries with 67 communities served and counting. Under his leadership, Weathermatic has focused its 75-year legacy on sustainability and smart technology with revenues growing in over 1,000 distribution locations in 85 countries.
Brodie holds a key role in Weathermatic new product development including the award-winning SmartLink Network irrigation control system, a revolutionary cloud-based technology for remotely programming and monitoring irrigation systems. To apply the SmartLink technology in a water management services offering, Brodie was part of the team that originally developed the Sustainability Services division of Weathermatic, now responsible for managing outdoor water for leading Fortune 500 companies and major institutions. Brodie leads the Sustainability Services division comprised of U.S. and European teams of proposal, reporting, and monitoring analysts as well as field operations teams responsible for commissioning and inspections. Today, he incorporates knowledge from national accounts savings programs into the Premier Partner program designed for leading landscape service providers.
Brodie is a graduate of Baylor University where he studied Business Management and International Business. He is the author of Pathway to Profits and editor of the marketing and sales book titled, 21 Secrets. Both books are the official instruction manuals used by the International Irrigation Association. Bruner serves on the Board of Directors for Weathermatic and the Paper for Water charity.
Brodie resides just outside of Dallas, Texas near Southfork Ranch with his wife and three children, who share his passion for providing clean water to the thirsty with 6 water wells sponsored and counting in conjunction with their local school.
